We ordered their famous Seafood Melt and Poutine. Enjoyed both tremendously. They were generous with the amount of shrimps and scallops. Definitely a must get if you're a big fan of seafood! The place was clean and the staff were also very friendly.
I've heard about this place from my Escondido friends. Finally had an opportunity to go there myself... I was not disappointed! Place has a cool vibe that goes nicely with their interesting menu of comfort foods. The staff was all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our food was served fairly quickly (parmesan crusted chicken sandwich was yummy) and they checked with us several times to make sure we were happy. As we left the restaurant, at least three staff members thanked us for coming. I would definitely go back!
Stopped at H Brother's while at Crusin' Grand. This place is an absolute gem! The food is nothing short of exceptional. Their burgers are packed with flavor, and the fries are cooked to perfection. But it doesn't stop there. The brisket sandwich was incredibly tender and juicy, a true standout. To top it off, everyone was extremely friendly and the place was clean. You order at the front and pay at the front, have a seat and they bring the food to you. Highly recommend giving this place a try! Would definitely go back!
H Brothers Kitchen in Escondido is an absolute standout. The fish and chips are next level—perfectly crispy, flaky fish paired with homemade coleslaw that actually tastes fresh (not the usual afterthought), and an intensely flavorful tartar sauce I’d honestly buy by the jar. I ordered the pulled pork plate and it was perfection—tender, juicy, and smothered in their house barbecue sauce, which strikes that ideal balance of smoky, tangy, and just a little sweet. Everything tastes like it’s made with care, not just thrown together. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in the area. Highly recommend.
This restaurant is amazing. Great food. Huge portions and kind service. I recommend looking at the menu beforehand and when you get there. Staff was attentive and they even asked if I wanted to have the beignets to come out later to keep the warm. It was mainly table and chair seating if I recall. Self serve drinks may not have been the most ADA friendly but staff were nearby to help patrons. The bathrooms are in the back. There are two. You have walk through a storage like area which isn't bad and bathrooms are not gendered which was comforting to me. I live far from here but was in town for a concert, but this may become my new pitstop place on my way to and fro San Diego.
This place is the real deal. We ordered food for 20+ people for takeout, and they didn’t miss a thing. Everything was perfect. Food was awesome. Huge menu. Something for everyone. Service was exceptional. If you’re reading this, this place is the right choice.
My husband and I were on our way home from San Diego and wanted something delicious for lunch. I Googled “best restaurants in Escondido” and H Bros was on the list with a 4.7 ratings. Well it should be a 5 in our opinion! Starting with the young man who greeted us…..happily answered questions we had about the menu, gave us ice water and offered us to have a seat to review the menu before ordering at the counter. After we ordered and got our food (Philly cheesesteak sandwiches and homemade potato chips) we were checked on twice by the nice young man and a pleasant young lady! The food was amazing! We could tell that they put a lot of effort into preparation and it was served hot! We will be returning in the future!
I met my elderly mom at H Brothers. We have never dined at H Brothers, so I arrived early. The wait staff was busy preparing the restaurant. While I was taking photos, I asked one of the staff, "What do you like about your job?" She responded, "I like my boss." This answer promotes great service, which we received. H Brothers internationally created an environment with tasteful art. My mom and split an order of fish & chips, while enjoying Mother/Son date. We enjoyed our time at H Brothers, and I look forward to another visit.
